Yellow Transportation has announced plans to sponsor the #70 Haas CNC Racing Chevy of Johnny Sauter in the 2007 Nextel Cup Series season. Yellow, who celebrates their 10th season in NASCAR in 2007, has teamed with Sauter since 2005 and together they joined Haas CNC Racing in 2006 where Team Yellow finished eighth in the Busch Series championship standings. Making the steady progression from the Craftsman Truck Series to the Busch Series, Yellow now looks to NASCAR’s premier class to further evolve their race program. In addition to their commitment at the Cup level, Yellow returns as title sponsor of the Busch Series race at Kansas Speedway in 2007. The Yellow 300 will take place on Saturday, September 29 with plans for Sauter to field a Yellow Chevy in both events that weekend rounding out a complete hometown swing.(teamyellowracing.com) AND While Sauter is slated to carry the Yellow logo throughout the entire schedule, Yellow will take center stage as primary sponsor in 14 events, this season. Those events include: Daytona-2/18, California-2/25, Las Vegas-3/11, Atlanta-3/18, Bristol-3/25, Texas-4/15, Richmond-5/5, Dover-6/3, Pocono-6/10, Chicago-7/15, Michigan-8/19, Kansas-9/30, Charlotte-10/13 and Homestead-11/18.
