Yates Could Close Busch Team: UPDATE 2: New Crew Chief for Remainder of ’07:

As far as the Busch side [of Yates Racing, Co-owner Doug] Yates said he wasn’t sure what would happen with that team [#90-Stephen Leicht]. “It’s not the No. 1 priority,” Yates said. “If Citi would like to come back [as a sponsor] or we could find sponsorship, we would run it. UPDATE: Robert Yates Racing released Stephen Leicht, driver of the #90 CitiFinancial Ford, effective as of the end of the 2007 Busch Series season. Leicht remains under contract with RYR through the conclusion of the 2007 season. Leicht, who is currently in 9th place in the Busch Series driver standings, will continue to drive the #90 for the final five races of the season.
