Carfax expanded its historic carbon neutral initiative at Michigan International Speedway to include the first-ever Sprint Cup Series car. Carfax, lead sponsor of the #28 Ford participating in the 3M Performance 400 on Aug. 17, will offset all carbon emissions generated by the car from race activities that day, marking the first time a Sprint Cup Series car will be carbon neutral for an event. In addition, the Nationwide Series Carfax 250 on Aug. 16 again will be carbon neutral. Carfax offset more than 4,200 tons of carbon emissions from last year’s Busch Series Carfax 250, making it the first carbon neutral stock car event in history. In addition, the #11 Chevy, owned by CJM Racing and driven by Jason Keller in the Carfax 250 on Saturday, will also run under the Carfax brand.(Carfax PR)(8-13-2008)

Carfax, along with America’s Incredible Pizza Company, will sponsor the #11 entry driven by Jason Keller in the Nationwide Series race. Carfax has become a fixture at Michigan International Speedway for the last three years as title sponsor of the Nationwide Series race. In addition, the race marks the second consecutive year that Carfax will be predominately displayed on the hood of the #11 Chevy.(CJM Racing PR)(8-13-2008)
