Nationwide Series driver Morgan Shepherd will carry a message of support for Catawba County, NC sheriff candidate Coy Reid during the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. Shepherd has great respect for the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department and current Sheriff David Huffman due to their many years of service and dedication to keeping their community safe. Reid joined the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department in 1977 where he has served in various capacities, including road patrol, criminal investigations, and most recently the department’s chief executive officer.(Faith Motorsports PR)(5-24-2010)
