Richard Childress Racing and Zaxby’s have revised their partnership agreement, with the Southeast favorite for chicken fingers and Buffalo wings to sponsor the #21 team for 10 more races in the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Clint Bowyer will drive the #21 Zaxby’s Chevry at Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 29 and Oct. 15), Daytona International Speedway (July 2), Bristol Motor Speedway (Aug. 20), Atlanta Motor Speedway (Sept. 4), Richmond International Raceway (Sept. 10), Texas Motor Speedway (Nov. 6) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (Nov. 20). Scott Riggs will drive the car at Nashville Superspeedway (June 5) and Kentucky Speedway (June 12). For the remaining races, Zaxby’s will be an associate sponsor with Zaxby’s branding to be displayed on the car’s lower-rear quarter panels.(RCR PR) no word on the status of John Wes Townley, but he’s not scheduled to drive any of the races.(5-28-2010)
