The Department of Veterans Affairs Post-9/11 GI Bill will be a partner on the #71 Post-911 GI Bill/TRG Motorsports Chevrolet Impala SS for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Air Guard 400 to be run at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 11. The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11, 2001. Approved training under the Post-9/11 GI Bill includes graduate and undergraduate degrees as well as vocational/technical training. Landon Cassill will be the driver of the #71 Chevy. TRG Motorsports team principal, Kevin Buckler, is proud to be associated with the Veterans Affairs Post-9/11 GI Bill and their introduction into NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing. The GI Bill has had a personal impact on his family. The Post-9/11 GI Bill, passed by Congress in 2008, provides financial support for education and housing to veteran service men and women, and allows every eligible veteran, service member, reservist and National Guard member an opportunity to receive undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as vocational and technical training.
