Kevin Harvick sported a new primary sponsor on the No. 2 truck this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and said he hopes to wrap up sponsorship plans for his Kevin Harvick Inc. organization “in the next three or four weeks. KHI fields two trucks with defending series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. in the team’s No. 33 and a variety of drivers in the team’s No. 2 entry. Harvick has been able to put together a number of limited sponsorships, however, to keep the teams on the track. That could change for the better in the coming weeks, he said. “We’ve been very fortunate on the sponsorship side. Hopefully in the next three or four weeks we should have a lot of things wrapped up. And that’s a good thing,” he said. “Our intentions are to still compete in both as they currently stand in the Truck Series and the Nationwide Series with the vehicles that we have and hopefully maybe a few more races than what we currently run. Our current sponsors are all going to still be involved from the Nationwide side and many of them on the truck side. For us, we’ve been very fortunate to have a lot of success on the sponsorship side and things are going great.”(SceneDaily.com)(9-19-2010)
