Baker Curb Racing announced that they have signed 18-year old Alex Kennedy to a two-race deal. Kennedy will drive the team’s #27 in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway on November 6th and the Wypall 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 13th. Kennedy made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Road America in June. He had a top-15 run going before getting caught up in a couple late accidents and had to settle for a 28th-place finish. He has made four Nationwide Series starts this season, registering a career-best 16th-place finish in the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International. The New Mexico native has also made two starts in the ARCA Racing Series this season, including a 19th-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway. Kennedy finished 11th in the Sunoco 150 at Dover International Raceway in his lone K&N Pro Series East start.(Baker Curb)(10-28-2010)
