Emily Maynard is one of the contestants on “The Bachelor.” She was engaged to the late Ricky Hendrick (son of car owner Rick Hendrick). Ricky Hendrick was killed in the Hendrick plane crash in 2004 when it overshot a landing on the way to the Martinsville race and crashed into a mountain. A few days after Hendrick’s death, Emily Maynard found out she was pregnant. She has a 5-year-old daughter Josephine is nicknamed “Ricki” after her father.(Virginian Pilot)(12-17-2010)
