TriStar hauler liftgate collapses: UPDATE:

According to a Facebook note by Sirius Speedway’s Dave Moody, “No injuries were reported earlier today when the rear lift gate on theTri-Star Motorsports NASCAR Nationwide Series transporter failed today in the garage area at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The failure reportedly occurred while the team was attempting to unload the #19 car driven by Mike Bliss, with the rear door frame breaking away from the trailer, causing the lift gate and race car to fall to the ground. There is no word on damage to the car.”(7-14-2011)
UPDATE: According to the team, “In response to the incident with the #19 hauler; James Roland, crew member of the team, suffered a broken bone in his foot & has possible torn ligaments in his knee.”(7-14-2011)
