Pole sitter, #48-Johnson, dominated much of the race but was passed by Keselowski after final pit stops and finished 2nd. He was followed by #5-Kahne, #18-Busch, #39-Newman, #14-Stewart, #20-Logano, #88-Earnhardt, Jr., #56-Truex, Jr., and #15-Bowyer.
The points leader coming into the race, #11-Hamlin, ran out of gas on the last lap and finished 16th.
There were 4 cautions for 23 yellow flag laps. There were 16 lead changes among 9 drivers. The average speed was 143.363mph.
The estimated attendence was 65,000. Last year’s race was rain delayed to Monday and attendance was 42,000.
