This is his fifth victory and 24th top-10 finish in 2012. Johnson has now won two consecutive races, pushing his Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup wins record to 22.
This is his second victory and 14th top-10 finish in 19 races at Texas Motor Speedway.
This is Chevrolet’s 700th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory.
Brad Keselowski (second) posted his first top-10 finish in nine races at Texas Motor Speedway. It is his 22nd top-10 finish in 2012.
Kyle Busch (third) posted his sixth top-10 finish in 15 races at Texas Motor Speedway.
Jimmie Johnson leads the point standings by 7 points over Brad Keselowski.
