His last pole, 81 races ago, came at Martinsville Speedway in March 2011. This is his first pole and fourth top-10 start in 2013. This is his second pole in 11 races at Sonoma Raceway. His previous pole came in 2007. Marcos Ambrose (second) posted his fourth top-10 start of 2013 and his sixth in six races at Sonoma Raceway.
