Teams in all three NASCAR series in action at Texas this week will run the same tire codes, though the Sprint Cup and Nationwide tires will be branded ‘Goodyear Eagle’ while the Camping World Truck tires will be branded ‘Goodyear Wrangler” . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that all of these teams ran at Texas earlier this season “ Sprint Cup and Nationwide in April and Camping Wold Truck in June . . . Truck teams have run this same tire set-up at Texas since 2011 . . . in the Cup and Nationwide Series, they have run this left-side tire code (D-4392) at Texas since 2011, though it was just paired with this right-side tire code (D-4418) this season . . . while this right-side code is unique to Texas, this left-side code is also run by NASCAR teams at Chicagoland (all three series), Darlington (Sprint Cup and Nationwide) and Homestead (all three series) in 2013 . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Texas . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.(Goodyear), see full notes, trie codes, tire pressures on the Texas Race Info page – Goodyear section .
