Darlington Raceway, NASCAR Green donate trees:

Darlington Raceway and NASCAR have once again partnered to donate 80 trees to the local Darlington, S.C. community through the NASCAR Green Clean Air Tree Planting Program Delivered by UPS. This year, the recipient of the 80 trees is the Darlington County School District. Darlington Raceway will also plant an additional 10 trees on its property, bringing the total donation to 90 trees. A ceremonial tree planting took place at Carolina Elementary School in Hartsville, S.C. to celebrate the donation. Several schools throughout the Darlington County School District will receive a part of the tree donation. Over the past two years, the program has planted over 160 trees in the local communities surrounding the track.
