Homestead- Miami Speedway announced that it is expanding its partnership with iconic marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey. The partnership includes a series of activities surrounding Ford Championship Weekend. Widely recognized as the worlds finest marine life artist, Harveys work will be featured during each of the three season-ending races in NASCARs top three national series. – This years Ford Championship Weekend official souvenir program again features the artwork of the renowned artist and conservationist. The cover includes a sailfish superimposed on an image of the Homestead-Miami Speedway frontstretch alongside NASCARs top national touring series championship trophies that will be awarded after each contest. – Dr. Harveys art can also be seen by way of a giant seascape installation in Turn 1. Its located at the bottom Sections 180-200, where seats were removed due to the fact that spectators couldnt see a majority of the track following the 18-20 degree banking that was added in 2003. – Harveys designs are also available on commemorative posters, T-shirts and travel cups that will be for sale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, both during race weekend and throughout the year. – Additionally, NASCAR stock cars that include Guy Harvey Custom Wraps have been on display during Homestead-Miami Speedway community appearances throughout Florida.(HMS)(11-5-2013) News from November 4, 2013
