SWM- NEMCO Motorsports announced unprecedented plans for father and son Joe and John Hunter Nemechek to share a tag-team single season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for 2014. This move allows the #8 truck, owned by SWM-NEMCO Racing, to run the whole season with John Hunter racing the 10 races at all the tracks that NASCAR allows at his age of 16. His dad, Joe will be mounting a campaign at racing the other 12. John Hunter will be running a combo of short track and one mile ovals, coupled with a road course and a dirt track. ‘Front Row Joe’ will be taking the balance of the season at the larger tracks and super speedways. In the elite club of a few drivers with more than 1000 starts, only seven of those starts have been in a truck, with a best finish of 2nd place for the senior Nemechek.
