Brad Keselowski won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 10th Annual The Profit on CNBC 500 presented by Small Business Fueling America with a lap of 25.828 seconds, 139.384 mph.
His qualifying speed is a track record, beating Jimmie Johnson’s qualifying lap of 139.222 mph from Nov. 2013. His teammate Joey Logano (139.265 mph) also surpassed the old track record.
This is his fourth pole in 163 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
This is his first pole and first top-10 start in 2014.
This is his first pole in ten races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Joey Logano (second) posted his first top-10 start of 2014 and his sixth in 11 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Jamie McMurray (third) posted his eighth top-10 start at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his first in two races this season. Kyle Larson (eighth) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
