Last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway the #99 team showed the rest of the garage that they could ‘run’ with the best of them when they hosted Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil as an honorary crew member. Neil, a Vegas resident and lead singer of the multi-platinum selling band Motley Crue, participated in a variety of track activities throughout the day including a visit to the Sprint Experience with Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards and comedian Carrot Top. He continued to shadow Edwards during the day making his way to the driver meeting and introductions before heading to pit road to watch Edwards and the ‘crue’ turn in a strong fifth-place finish. The team was first introduced to the legendary rocker earlier this year during a testing run at Nashville. Neil spent the day with all three Roush Fenway Racing teams and the #99 boys were determined to have him back when they made it out to Sin City.(Roush Fenway)
