The 15th annual Over the Mountain Triathlon is expecting #48-Jimmie Johnson to be among the competitors on May 17 in Kings Mountain, NC. Johnson is planning to compete in the triathlon, race director Ellis Noell said he has been told by representatives of the driver, though that could change. The Sprint All-Star Race is in Concord that night. The triathlon will include a one-mile open water swim across Moss Lake, a 30-mile bike ride and a 10K run through the West Side Historic District.(Gaston Gazette)(5-17-2014)
