#48-Jimmie Johnson won the 55th Annual COCA-COLA 600, his 67th victory in 447 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. Johnson ranks eighth on the all-time series wins list.
This is his first victory and seventh top-10 finish in 2014. With the win, Johnson is virtually locked into the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
This is his seventh victory and 17th top-10 finish in 26 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Johnson is now the all-time series points wins leader at Charlotte Motor Speedway, breaking a tie with NASCAR Hall of Famers Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip.
This is Johnson’s fourth win in the Coca-Cola 600. Only Darrell Waltrip (five) has more wins in the 600.
Johnson has now won at least one race in 13 consecutive seasons, which is tied for the ninth longest streak all-time with NASCAR Hall of Famers Lee Petty and Cale Yarborough.
#4-Kevin Harvick (second) posted his 10th top-10 finish in 27 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is his sixth top-10 finish in 2014.
#20-Matt Kenseth (third) posted his 16th top-10 finish in 30 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
