Next week, #22-Joey Logano and fianc©e Brittany Baca will be married in North Carolina, with a trip to Costa Rica on tap for the honeymoon. ‘We’re going to have some fun, but it’s only going to be for about a week because I can’t handle any longer than that,’ Logano, 24, said Thursday following the annual Myers Brothers Award luncheon. ‘She’s like, ‘Let’s go for two weeks.’ I said, ‘How about five days?’ So we kind of met in the middle ‘ a week. I can’t sit still; I’ve got to go all the time. We’ll enjoy it, it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to the wedding ‘ we’ve got a lot of people going, a lot of people you haven’t seen in a while, a lot of people from the race team.’ The plan, he said, is to ‘party our butts off.’ The wedding date is scheduled for Dec. 13, and was decided by Baca for a specific reason. Earlier this year, she told AL.com that the use of sequential numbers, 12/13/14, would make it easy for Logano to recall. ‘He has a busy enough life,’ she said. ‘I don’t want to give him anything else to remember.’(NASCAR.com)(12-8-2014)
