  • Special Stanley scheme at Texas for Edwards: The “Racing for a Miracle” program created by Stanley, the Ace Hardware Foundation, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, is a multi-faceted program that benefits sick and injured children by raising funds for the hospitals that provide their care. Since the inception of this partnership, Stanley and the Ace Hardware Foundation have donated more than half a million dollars to the program. This year, Carl Edwards and the #19 Stanley race team head to Texas Motor Speedway, where they will have a million reasons to find a way to win. Stanley and the Ace Hardware Foundation will once again pledge $100,000 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.   • Fans to choose Keselowski’s scheme for All-Star race: In honor of their 25th year together, Miller Lite and Team Penske are letting fans decide the paint scheme of Brad Keselowski’s #2 Miller Lite Ford for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race in May.   • Gdovic to make XFINITY debut at Texas: Brandon Gdovic will take the next step in his career when he straps into his #55 WindStax Chevy at Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. This Friday’s race will mark the first start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the young Virginian. Gdovic, 23, cut his teeth short track racing throughout Virginia winning races and championships in INEX Legend Cars, IMCA Modifieds and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Over the past 4 seasons, Gdovic has established himself as a fierce competitor in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. He has accumulated 47 starts in that series, with almost half resulting in a top 10-finish. He scored his first career victory in the K&N Pro Series in 2013 at Greenville-Pickens. Brandon Gdovic has also made starts in the ARCA Racing Series, and is scheduled to compete for this season’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship. Gdovic’s first start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will come at the helm of the #55 Camaro fielded by Viva Motorsports. Support for this race comes from WindStax Wind Power Systems.   • Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Chevrolet extend partnership: The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and long-standing partner Chevrolet have agreed to a multi-year extension of their partnership agreement. Among the key elements of their partnership, Chevrolet will continue its role as an Official Sponsor of the Verizon IndyCar Series Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and the Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here 400” at the Brickyard NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Chevrolet will provide the official cars and trucks along with the official safety vehicles for those three world-class IMS events, and will also provide the Official Pace Car for each race. The 2014 Indianapolis 500 marked the 25th time a Chevrolet has paced the “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” A Chevrolet has also served as the official pace car for the NASCAR Brickyard 400 since 1994, leading the field to the green flag 21 times. At the inaugural Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, a 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible served as the official pace car for the first ever IndyCar road course race held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
