- Entry List for the GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway is posted, 40 teams/drivers [for 40 spots] are listed.
Some of the drivers entered include: #00-Gase, #15-Chastain, #51-Custer, #55-Sorenson, #62-Gaughan, #72-Whitt, #92-Peters, #96-Kennington.
Since 40 cars are entered, all drivers will make the race.

- Debris cautions down considerably this season: Though it appeared to be triggered by Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s Ford scarping the wall, the final caution Saturday was sourced to “debris,” marking only the second debris yellow of the season and the first since the season-opening Daytona 500.[More](4-24-2018)

Prior to the start of the GEICO 500, Wilder – “The Bronze Bomber” – will lead the field around the mammoth 2.66-mile track in the Official Ford Mustang GT Pace Car and take them to the green flag to start off the much-anticipated event.[More](4-24-2018)
