Brett Bodine stared into the abyss.
There was nowhere else to go, nowhere to turn. From promising young Busch Series upstart to aspiring Winston Cup driver, he’d been to the mountaintop in the 1980s and early 90s. Sponsorship woes rocked his career to its very foundations, and then a divorce and a horrific 2003 crash at Michigan left his personal and professional lives at a crossroads.
It took remarriage and an incredible job offer from Mike Helton to get Brett Bodine back on his feet. This is his story.
