Nick Sanchez Parts Ways with BJ McLeod Motorsports

After running two of his seven scheduled races with BJ McLeod Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, Nick Sanchez has parted ways with the team, he announced on Twitter.

“At this time, I would like to announce that I will not be competing in my remaining scheduled Xfinity races with BJ McLeod Motorsports this season,” he said Wednesday. “I’d like to thank BJ and Jessica McLeod, along with the entire team, for the opportunity to compete with them.”

Sanchez has a best finish of 26th at Phoenix with BJMM. He DNF’d at Charlotte, with an ignition issue.

Sanchez added he’d been presented an opportunity that will help him grow and advance, and will share the news soon.
