UPDATE: “After further evaluation, I’m very excited to say that I’ve been cleared to return to racing! I’d like to give thanks to NASCAR and their team for what they’ve done this week to make sure that I’m 100%,” Reddick posted in a tweet on Wednesday regarding his medical clearance following his early exit from the race last Sunday at Martinsville.
Original post: #8-Tyler Reddick finished 35th Sunday at Martinsville Speedway after pulling off the track 186 laps into the race.
He was checked out at the infield care center and released. He will be further evaluated this week before being cleared to race at Phoenix.
Reddick discussed his actions Monday on SiriusXM.
