Prime gets 1.66 million viewers for Pocono Cup race, 1.5 million for post-race coverage

The penultimate race of Prime Video’s 2026 NASCAR schedule got underway two hours ahead of schedule on Sunday to avoid the threat of thunderstorms heading toward Pocono Raceway’s Tricky Triangle as Denny Hamlin cruised to his third-straight Cup Series victory. Despite direct competition from FIFA World Cup matches, NASCAR on Prime from Pocono earned 1.66 million viewers according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel (BD+P) measurement.

Heading into Sunday’s season finale at San Diego’s Naval Base Coronado, the 2026 NASCAR on Prime season is averaging 2.29 million viewers through four races. Even though three of those broadcasts were impacted by weather, the apples-to-apples comparison (BD+P vs. BD+P) is posting a +5% increase over the comparable four-race average on Prime Video.
