Beer Decals ONLY the #43: Richard Petty has said many times that beer sponsors, such as Coor’s Light, Budweiser, etc will not be on the #43 car. It has been a Petty tradition going back to Richard’s mother not to have alcohol-related sponsors on ‘his’ cars. “My mother would come back and haunt us home,” Petty said of what would happen if a beer sponsor showed on up the #43.
