Kyle Larson clinches Championship 4 berth with win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Kyle Larson earned this trophy the old-fashioned way. #5-Kyle Larson won the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The win is his 4th win of the year, 2nd at Las Vegas and 23rd career win.
Pole winner #20-Christopher Bell finished 2nd followed by #8-Kyle Busch, #6-Brad Keselowski, #1-Ross Chastain, #12-Ryan Blaney, #24-William Byron, #45-Tyler Reddick, #19-Martin Truex, Jr., and #11-Denny Hamlin.
It was a clean race for the playoff drivers, with all 8 finishing in the top 11.
Larson was the dominant driver on the day, leading 133 of the 267 laps, and winning both stages.  He had a solid lead through much of the final portion of the race, but a last lap charge by Bell made the finish close.

UPDATE 2: Blaney’s disqualification was rescinded on Monday afternoon and his finishing position and points were restored.
