#11-Denny Hamlin won the NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway. It is his second All-Star Race win.
#19-Chase Briscoe finished second followed by #43-Erik Jones, #3-Austin Dillon, #88-Connor Zilisch, #2-Austin Cindric, #24-William Byron, #71-Michael McDowell, #48-Alex Bowman, and #2-Brad Keselowski.
The race consisted of 350 total laps with the first 150 laps including all entries. After that, the field was trimmed to 26 drivers for the 200 lap feature.
Hamlin was the dominant driver all day. He finished second in the first segment, third in the second segment and started the final segment from the pole. He led 103 of the final 200 laps.
Drivers that were not locked in and raced their way into the final segment: #88-Connor Zilisch, #43-Erik Jones, #71-Michael McDowell, #48-Alex Bowman, #10-Ty Dillon, #4-Noah Gragson, #47-Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and #16-A.J.Allmendinger.
#7-Daniel Suarez was the fan vote winner.
The first 75 lap segment was won by #23-Bubba Wallace.
The second 75 lap segment was won by #45-Tyler Reddick.
There were 9 lead changes among 5 drivers and 2 cautions for 14 laps in the feature.

FINAL SEGMENT
Denny Hamlin wins the All-Star race at Dover. Briscoe finishes second, then Jones ADillon and Zilisch.

Lap 198 – Three to go and Hamlin in control, 1.16 second back.
Lap 195 – Briscoe has now fallen 1.3 seconds back with six laps to go.
Lap 191 – Ten laps remaining. Hamlin by .58 second over Briscoe. Jones has fallen 6 seconds back.
Lap 181 – Twenty to go. Hamlin by .4 second over Briscoe and 3.6 seconds over Jones.
Lap 175 – Hamlin already with a .7 second lead.
Lap 172 – Hamlin take the lead back. 29 laps to go. Reddick takes his car to the garage. He broke a power steering belt.
Lap 171 – With 30 to go, Hamlin has caught Briscoe and is battling him for the lead.
Lap 169 – Reddick hits pit road. The crew lifts the hood on the car.
Lap 161 – Forty laps remaining: Briscoe leads Hamlin by .4 second. Third place Reddick is 1.5 second back.

Lap 149 – Green flag with 52 laps remaining. Hamlin still the leader.
Lap 145 – With the track now cleaned up, pit road is open and everyone that had not pitted is in. Off pit road: Hamlin Briscoe Reddick Jones ADillon Cindric Zilisch McDowell Allmendinger.
Lap 139 – CAUTION is out for Logano. He lost a tire going into turn one and backed into the wall. Just 12 drivers currently on the lead lap a green flag stops were underway.
Lap 138 – Byron pits from second.
Lap 136 – Green flag pit stops beginning with Hocevar coming in.
Lap 131 – Seventy laps remaining and Hamlin’s lead is 6 seconds.
Lap 113 – Hamlin has pulled out to a 3.4 second lead over Byron. Everyone needs to stop once more before the end of the race. Green flag stops are likely coming in the 30 or so laps.
Lap 101 – Hamlin leads Byron Reddick Briscoe Hocevar Jones McDowell ADillon TDillon and Keslowski with 100 laps remaining.
Lap 91 – Hamlin over Byron by 1.1 second.
Lap 82 – Green flag for the restart. Hamlin the leader over Byron. 119 laps remaining.
Lap 80 – Equipment interference for Zilisch. He will have to restart in the rear. Safety violation for Suarez. Speeding violation for Larson.
Lap 78 – Pit road is open. Leaders are in. Off pit road: Hamlin Zilisch Byron Reddick Jones McDowell TDillon.
Lap 76 – CAUTION is out for the planned All-Star caution. This is the only planned caution for this segment. Hamlin leads Reddick Zilisch Jones Byron McDowell Briscoe TDillon Hocevar and Cindric. Wallace is the free pass.
Lap 65 – All-Star caution coming in about 10 laps. Reddick leads Hamlin Zilisch Byron and Briscoe. Several drivers complaining about tires wearing out.
Lap 57 – Busch pitted and had a commitment line violation. He’s now 3 laps down.
Lap 53 – Suarez and Larson are now a lap down. Gibbs has lost three laps.
Lap 47 – Gibbs had to pit with a tire issue.
Lap 42 – Reddick takes the lead.
Lap 41- Briscoe continues to lead Reddick Hamlin Zilisch and Byron. Reddick closing.
Lap 32 – Reddick has moved to second.  All 26 drivers are still on the lead lap.
Lap 25 – Briscoe leads Hamlin by 1.3 second. Reddick is third. There will be a planned caution on or around lap 75.
Lap 10 – It’s Briscoe Hamlin Reddick Byron and Zilisch.
•  NASCAR announces the adverse conditions time for today’s race will be 8:00pm/et. (Once the Race leader has crossed the start/finish line after this time has expired, the next lap will be the white flag, followed by the black and white checkered flag, with no overtime.)  Obviously something would have to go terribly wrong for that to be an issue today. It’s 3:25pm/et.
Lap 3 – Briscoe takes the lead.
Lap 2 – Hamlin leads the first lap of the feature.

SEGMENT 2
•  Suarez is the fan vote winner.

Lap 76 – Segment 2 is complete. Reddick wins it over Briscoe Hamlin Hocevar Zilisch Jones Byron Bowman McDowell and Gragson.
Lap 72 – Reddick leads Briscoe by 2.8 seconds with four laps left in the segment.
Lap 67 – Reddick takes the lead.
Lap 66 – Ten laps remaining in segment 2: Briscoe Reddick Jones Bowman Allmendinger. Wallace returns to the race.
Lap 62 – Blaney comes back into the race from his segment 1 accident.
Lap 60 – Briscoe take the lead.
Lap 58 – Briscoe moves to second behind Allmendinger.
Lap 57 – Green flag. Allmendinger and Jones lead Bowman Briscoe Reddick McDowell Hocevar Gragson Cindric Zilisch
Lap 53 – Pit road is open. Allmendinger and Jones stay out. Everyone else comes in. Off pit road: Bowman Briscoe Reddick.
Lap 51 – CAUTION for Gibbs spinning on the frontstretch.
Lap 39 – Things have calmed down a bit for now. Reddick leads Allmendinger Gragson Gibbs and Hocevar.
Lap 25 – Reddick takes the lead.
Lap 21 – Back to green. Allmendinger leads Reddick Gragson TDillon and Stenhouse.
Lap 18 – Pit road is open. Most of the field stays out. Chastain is done for the day.
Lap 16 – CAUTION for SVG spinning from the lead. He didn’t hit anything but has a tire down.
Lap 15 – SVG to the lead.
Lap 12 – Green flag back out: Allmendinger SVG TDillon Gragson Stenhouse Gibbs Reddick McDowell Zilisch Bowman the top 10. Wallace and Chastain went to the garage. 23 cars are on track.
Lap 7 – CAUTION for Keselowski Chastain Wallace.
Lap 2 – Top 5 are: Allmendinger SVG TDillon Gragson Stenhouse.
•  2:22pm/et – Green flag for the start of segment 2.
•  For the start, it will be Allmendinger SVG Berry TDillon. 26 cars are on track.
•  2:17pm/et – Cars are rolling again for segment 2. This will be treated as a separate event. All cars start on the lead lap.
SEGMENT 1
Segment 1 results
•  NASCAR will still invert the top 26 cars. Nemechek is eligible to start the second segment first, followed by Herbst Bell Buescher Allmendinger Smith SVG Gragson Berry TDillon. If any driver can’t return the cars behind them will move up. Currently Nemechek Herbst Bell and Buescher are in the garage.
•  Drivers all come to pit road for the segment break and service on the cars. The rules call for the top 26 cars to be inverted to start the second segment but Nemechek, on a wrecker and three laps down, is currently in 26th. Waiting to see how NASCAR handles the invert.
Lap 76 – Segment 1 ends under caution: Wallace Hamlin Chastain Briscoe Keselowski Cindric Byron Logano ADillon Reddick the top 10.
Lap 73 – CAUTION out for a wreck on the frontstretch: Herbst Bell Nemechek Elliott Gilliland Busch Buescher and others involved. Herbst got loose to start it all.
Lap 71 – Wallace leads Hamlin with five to go in segment 1.
Lap 70 – Green flag with six laps remaining in the first segment. Hamlin Wallace Chastain Bell Briscoe Keselowski Logano Cindric Bowman Herbst the top 10.
Lap 65 – Pit road is open. Byron and Reddick pit. Hamlin and Wallace stay out and there are a variety of strategies. Hocevar goes to the garage for repairs.
Lap 62 – CAUTION after Hocevar gets into the outside wall. Berry is the free pass.
Lap 60 – Sixteen laps left in the first segment. Hamlin leads Wallace by 4.2 seconds. Byron now third, then Reddick Chastain Bell Busch Keselowski Briscoe and Jones.
Lap 41 – Hamlin now leads Byron by 5.2 seconds. Wallace Keselowski and Reddick round out the top 5.
Lap 28 – Gilliland is done for the day.
Lap 19 – Hamlin takes the lead back.
Lap 18 – Custer is officially out of the race.
Lap 16 – With 15 laps complete. Keselowski leads Hamlin by .17 second.
Lap 7 – Back to green. Keselowski Hamlin Chastain Byron Jones the top 5. Cars behind the wall: Blaney Larson Gilliland Preece Custer. Blaney and Larson can repair their cars and still return for the final ‘All-Star’ segment.
Lap 3 – Pit road is open. Leaders stay out. A few drivers with minor damage come in.
Lap 3 – The red flag was just over 13 minutes.
Lap 3 – RED FLAG for track cleanup. Blaney, Larson, Elliot, Gilliland among those with damage as well.
Lap 2 – Keselowski leads the first lap. CAUTION as drivers go into turn 1. Preece into the wall and the car catches fire but he gets out. Custer also with heavy damage.


•  1:06pm/et – Green flag for the first segment. It will be 75 laps. The top 26 finishers will then be inverted for the start of segment 2.
•  12:57pm/et – Engines are fired.
•  12:48pm/et – Pre-race ceremonies are underway.

Qualifying was based on three collective laps, which included a four-tire pit stop on the second one.
The Pit Crew Challenge winning team was #38-Zane Smith’s.
All 36 drivers start the race Sunday. The field will be cut to 26 after the second segment.
