#45-Tyler Reddick won the Goodyear 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway. The win is his fourth win of the year, first at Darlington and 12th career win.
#6-Brad Keselowski finished 2nd followed by #12-Ryan Blaney, #77-Carson Hocevar, #2-Austin Cindric, #54-Ty Gibbs, #7-Daniel Suarez, #24-William Byron, #17-Chris Buescher, and #43-Erik Jones.
Reddick started on the pole but had to overcome alternator problems early in the race that required the team to change the battery and sent him to the back of the field. However, He had the strongest car and worked his way back to the front, taking the lead for the final time with 27 laps remaining.
Stages 1 & 2 were both won by #6-Brad Keselowski.

There were 16 lead changes among 8 drivers and 4 cautions for 26 yellow flag laps.

Lap 289 – Reddick still in control with five to go. Hocevar has moved to 4th place.
Lap 286 – Larson has to pit with a flat tire.
Lap 284 – Ten laps remaining. Reddick continues to pull away. Keselowski remains second then Blaney Briscoe Hocevar Cindric Gibbs Byron Buescher and Suarez.

Lap 259 – Reddick takes second place from Briscoe. He’s 1.8 second behind Keselowski.
Lap 257 – Briscoe is 1.6 second off the lead. Reddick is now just 2.5 seconds back. He pitted four laps after Keselowski.
Lap 253 – Keselowski and Briscoe still up front and Reddick now third, 4.5 seconds behind Keselowski.
Lap 249 – With 45 laps remaining, Keselowski is back in the lead. Second place Briscoe is 1.9 second back. Then Gibbs Blaney Buescher and Reddick.

Lap 243 – Keselowski pits. Reddick takes the lead.
Lap 242 – Keselowski takes the lead after Buescher was hit in the rear by Reddick and got into the wall as Buescher tried to get to pit road.
Lap 240 – Buescher leads Keselowski by .2 second. Third place Reddick is .9 second back. Gibbs, in fourth, has fallen more than 6 second back. A few pit stops are beginning.
Lap 237 – The lead is down to a half second. Green flag pit stops are coming soon. They would be the final green flag stops needed.
Lap 235 – Buescher’s lead is 1 second over Keselowski.
Lap 233 – Keselowski already just 1.6 second back.

Lap 183 – With just three laps left in stage 2, Buescher is battling Keselowski for the lead.
Lap 180- Hamlin has fallen to 8th.  He thinks he could have a tire lose or a going down.
Lap 171 – Fifteen laps remaining in Stage 2. Keselowski continues to lead. 26 drivers on the lead lap.
Lap 164 – Keselowski still leads but Buescher is just .5 second back. Larson is third, 1 second back. Then Hamlin and Briscoe.
Lap 152 – With pit stops complete it’s Keselowski Buescher Hamlin Larson Briscoe Preece Byron Gibbs Suarez and McDowell.
Lap 151 – Reddick and Blaney pit. Elliott comes in the next time by.
Lap 150 – Elliott Reddick and Blaney have not pitted. Keselowski and Buescher round out the top 5.

Lap 94 – Reddick pits again so the team can put in a new battery.
Lap 92 – Reddick pits early so the team can check the alternator. There is no problem with the belt.
Lap 91 – CAUTION for the end of stage 1. Keselowski wins it over Reddick Blaney Wallace Larson Buescher Elliott Cindric Sarez and Byron. 20 cars on the lead lap. The free pass will be McDowell.
Lap 85 – Blaney is 1.2 seconds behind Keselowski, Reddick is 3.8 seconds off the lead.
Lap 81 – Ten laps to go in stage 1. Keselowski Blaney Reddick Wallace Larson the top 5.
Lap 78 – Reddick around Wallace for third, still 5.8 seconds back.

Lap 11 – With 10 laps complete: Reddick Wallace Larson Keselowski Buescher are the top 5.  Hill already 23 seconds off the lead.
Lap 2 – Reddick leads the first lap.
