#22-Bill Lester won the pole for the Built Ford Tough 225 pres. by Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers at Kentucky Speedway with a track record of 178.141mph [the old record was 169.641 by Jon Wood in 2003]. It was Lester's second consecutive pole and 2nd of the season

#22-Bill Lester won the pole for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway with a new track record lap of 173.633mph for his first Bud pole of the season and second career pole; his other pole was at Lowe's Motor Speedway in 2003. Thirty-one of the 36 trucks broke

#46-Dennis Setzer dominated and won the Toyota Tundra 200 at the Milwaukee Mile, lapping all but three trucks and leading 152 of 200 laps and taking over the points lead. The win was Setzers 2nd of 2005, second in a row and 14th of his career, 6th all-time in the win
