Ward Burton says he's close to signing to return to the #4 Morgan-McClure car next season in the Nextel Cup Series. And he would like to run even more races. Burton is in negotiations to drive for the team next year and hopes to land a part-time Busch ride to help

After a long hiatus, Ward Burton is slated to be the full-time driver of the #4 next year. "We haven't completely signed the deal, but we've agreed on one," team owner Larry McClure said. "So it looks like he'll have a good shot at being back in the car next year."
