Bill Elliott and the #94 McDonald’s team introduced the new Mac Tonight race car 7-3-94 in Daytona. The commemorative Ford Thunderbird will run at Bristol(8-23), Richmond(9-6), NHIS(9-14), Dover(9-21) and Martinsville(9-28). Mac Tonight is the popular moon-shaped crooner, decked in trendy sunglasses, who has starred in McDonald’s national advertising to promote McDonald’s as the place for dinner. The moon-shaped Mac Tonight character is prominently featured on the car’s midnight blue exterior along with stars cut from reflective decal material. When light hits the car’s unique surface, the stars will appear to “twinkle.” To showcase its “sparkling” appearance, the Mac Tonight car will make its racing debut on August 23 at Goody’s 500 in Bristol(7-5-97)
