The 1997 Winston West Series Champion and Winston Cup driver Butch Gilliland is currently seeking marketing partners. Butch, after, 3 very successful years with Stroppe Motorsports, has announced they will be parting ways in 1998. Gilliland has made his plans public that he is going to run his own team, although he has not ruled out accepting a ride with a Truck or Busch team that is capable of running up front should that opportunity present itself.
