I have some clarification of the #94 McDonald’s deal that I reported on a week ago. McDonald’s Corporation and it’s franchisees pay for the sponsorship of all of our sports alliances, including auto racing. The story that Coke pays for the McDonald’s sponsorship of Bill Elliott Racing in order to remain their customer, was not true.(4-28-98)
