Akins/Sutton Motorsports has hired Rick Viers to serve as crew chief for Elton Sawyer’s #98 Lysol Ford Taurus for the 1999 Busch Series season. Viers will be replacing Wes Ward, who had been Sawyer’s crew chief since the 1998 AC Delco 200 at Rockingham(SpeedNet)(1-30-1999)
