Casey Atwood was moved from 19th to 43rd in the BGN field when NASCAR discovered his team was using unapproved fuel(GoCarolina’s) and from NOL: the lap was disallowed when a fuel sample taken from the #27 earlier in the day did not meet specifications. The move bumped provisional starter Adam Petty into the field based on his 37th-best lap of 151.688 mph. Everyone behind Atwood moved up one spot and, since he was eligible for a provisional, the 43 qualifiers did not change(NOL)(6-5-1999)
