Mark IV Motorsports, a five year veteran of the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series is making final preparations for the team’s first BGN at the Pikes Peak this weekend. The team’s driver, Damon Lusk is currently fourth in NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series championship points having posted five straight top ten finishes. In addition to this being the team’s first start, it will also represent the first BGN start for their sponsor, America Online. The team made arrangements to field their Chevrolet Monte Carlo through Spencer Motor Ventures in Moorsville, NC. In addition, the car will be running Jimmy Spencer’s #12 in lieu of Mark IV Motorsports’ traditional #40. The team’s crew chief for the event will be Al Cretsinger(Mark IV Motorsports PR)(7-21-1999)
