The #55 Davis & Weight Motorsports, Florida Gators Chevy will be taking a break from the BGN schedule. Crew Chief Skip Eyler and the team will be regrouping for the K-Mart 200 at Rockingham on Oct 23rd. Driver Michael Ritch will make his third attempt to qualify the #55 Florida Gators car at the ?????Rock????. Ritch failed to qualify at Richmond and Dover earlier. The team is using the time off to improve their program(engines/chassis) and will be testing at Rockingham along with other tracks. The #55 will also run at Memphis on October 31 and Homestead the season finale on November 13(Davis & Weight Motorsports PR)(10-4-1999)
