Tim Steele, who tried going from ARCA to three of NASCAR’s top divisions, returns Sunday to the ARCA series for the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem (Ind.) Speedway. Personal and team finance concerns kept Steele from ARCA’s season-opening event at Daytona in February. Since taking his third ARCA title in 1997, Steele and his quest to become a NASCAR regular have been beset by injuries and sponsor snafus.
