Galaxy Motorsports will have to wait until after the holidays to get final approval on the Pizza Hut sponsorship agreement. Team spokesman, Gus Larkin said, “We had a great meeting with Pizza Hut in late December but we were unable to iron out some details before entering into holiday scheduling conflicts. We have agreed to address some issues after the first of the year in a meeting that will hopefully bring closure to the deal”. Larkin added, “If we are not able to secure Pizza Hut as a full time primary sponsor Galaxy is prepared to continue the sponsorship strategy we successfully launched last year in which a number of marketing partners rotate as the primary sponsor. We feel the Galaxy program offers a cost effective opportunity for sponsors to utilize a NASCAR Winston Cup marketing platform with a Primary role on our racecar”.
