IROC to honor champs: There have been 16 past champions of IROC and all of them will be honored during the year with their names on the practice cars. The four drivers that will be recognized in Round 1 at Daytona are Bobby Allison, Mark Donohue, Mario Andretti and Dale Earnhardt. Daytona USA will also feature two of IROC’s classic cars in a special exhibit. The exhibit will have a Camaro that was wheeled by Dave Marcis and a Porsche piloted by the late Donohue, who won the inaugural series.
