Dodge Engines:

Dodge Engines: Bill Davis, owner of the #22 Dodges driven by Ward Burton and the #93 Dodges driven by Dave Blaney, said Dodge teams are still experiencing some problems with their engines. “The motor does seem to build up a lot of water temperature. That’s something we’re learning about,” Davis said. “We had our other system worked out with the (General Motors) stuff last season. We’d run a lot of tape and never have any problems, but that’s a learning process. Davis credited his engine builder, Terry Elledge, with his teams’ strong runs to start the 2001 season. “He’s got more experience and more knowledge, or as much, as anybody here,” Davis said. “That’s one reason we’re where we’re at. We don’t suffer motor-wise.”(That’s Racin’)(3-3-2001)
