Not NASCAR but shocking – CART race at Texas called off: The Firehawk 600 was cancelled Sunday after CART drivers and officials decided it wasn’t safe to race at Texas Motor Speedway, leaving prospects for a rescheduled race unclear. CART spokesman Mike Zizzo said officials were meeting with car owners, drivers and a doctor.
