Officials for NASCAR announced a modification in the rule governing carburetor use in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly 400K on June 8 at Texas Motor Speedway. Teams competing in the June 7-8 event at the 1.5-mile superspeedway must practice, qualify and race with a 390 cfm carburetor.(NASCAR PR), the teams used the same as Cup, 830cfm, supposedly the change is only for Texas. The 390 is the same used in the BGN series(6-5-2001)
