America’s Most Wanted to Sponsor a Team? UPDATE: The television show “Americas Most Wanted” may soon be featured on a Winston Cup stock car, provided plans being finalized by the Denver, N.C., (not Colorado) firm Body Dynamics Racing Bodies and Straight Shooter Productions reach fruition. Straight Shooter produces “Americas Most Wanted,” which assists in the recovery of missing persons and apprehension of criminals. The host of the show, John Walsh, said, “To have the opportunity to have the childrens faces out in front of the multitudes of loyal NASCAR fans, we are sure to recover some of these kids, due to the fact that 77 percent of all recovered children are done so by projects similar to this.” “We still have a few issues to finalize,” added Scott Davis of Body Dynamics Racing Bodies, “but once these are in place, this will be a successful project and concept.”(Gaston Gazette). While in Daytona, Scott Davis Media Relations Director for Body Dynamics Racing was approached by the Daytona News Journal and the Volusia County Sheriffs office to assist in the missing persons case of a Grandmother and her 10-year-old Grandson, Joshua Bryant and Lillian R. Martin who have been missing since 05/12/2000. “Since we had already made arrangements for Chandra Levy to be placed on the Melling Racing Cup car, I knew we would have to come up with a different venue to cover the same market”, Stated Davis, “So we made an offer to the Volusia County Sheriffs Department to place the photos of Joshua Bryant and Lillian R.
