Business manager Lake Speed Jr., however, is encouraged the team will find solid backing to replace Kodiak, which is leaving the sport after the season. “We’ve got a lot of really good leads,” Speed Jr. said July 29. “It’s very encouraging this time of the year to have as many leads as we have. Do I wish I had something done? Yeah. Do I? No. But we’re getting really close.
