Aaron’s Sales and Lease Ownership, based in Atlanta, will continue its primary sponsorship of Michael Waltrip’s #99 BGN car thru 2003. Waltrip debuted the #99 Aaron’s Dream Machine at Bristol in the fall of 2000 and ran a limited BGN schedule (18 races) in 2001. The new alliance will have Waltrip piloting at least 19 of the 22 contracted races each year. This leaves 3 open rides where he hopes to bring up new fresh talent. In 2001, he gave opportunities to Shawna Robinson and Kerry Earnhardt to run a few BGN races with the Aaron’s Dream Team. “I really want to build my Busch team to where I can nurture and teach a fresh driver how to be a successful racer.
